Rob’s Tale

My name is Robert C. Innis and I see myself as quite eclectic, but my friends would call it weird. My friends and I can agree with my ability to connect with almost anyone, in which I learned this about myself when working NASCAR events. I happen to like and follow NASCAR now.

I hope to be the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) of a major sports related entity. Namely: Gatorade (a division of Pepsi), Nike, or Adidas (who ever will give me the opportunity). I am searching for the right opportunity that will put me on that path, and although I have a solid footing with a good company with many opportunities all of them are freelance, which means no benefits, stock options, or tuition reimbursement. My experience on a Mobile Marketing tour, allows me to gravitate towards event marketing. However, I have a love for PR because I am addicted to social media, and connecting to people. If I can find a way to merge, the digital and analytical side of PR with Event Marketing, then I feel my place in the marketing world will be set for at least ten years.

I write this blog, to mainly showcase my point of views on various topics. Since I do not have an influential position in any one field of Communications or sports, my content will vary, which is why there is a word in my title as “Confused.”

In the mean time, I will take advantage of the nice stable I have at my moms house, while saving up the thousands of dollars and spending hundreds on clothing.

  1. I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with the design of your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you edit it yourself? Either way keep up the great quality writing, it is rare to see a nice website such as this one these days!
